Meet Heather
Heather Greene is the founder and sole instructor at Breathe: A Mindful Movement Studio. As a certified instructor of Pilates, Barre, TRX, Integral Movement Method (IMM), and Rollology, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her classes.
Though Heather’s experience with Pilates goes back almost 30 years, it wasn’t until she and two of her children were diagnosed with Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) that she shifted her focus to the healing potential Pilates can provide.
This shift led Heather to work with The Ehlers-Danlos Society as an Allied Health Professional and The Neuro Studio as a Level 3 Mentee. Her work with these organizations has provided the continued education, training, and certifications for Heather to specialize in Pilates for those with hypermobility/connective tissue and neurological disorders.
The Studio
Breathe: A Mindful Movement Studio was created to accommodate clients of all levels and abilities. Our 1-on-1 and group class spaces work in tandem to provide a safe space that fosters connection with others and within oneself.
The 1-on-1 space houses the studio’s reformer, cadillac, Wunda chair, spine corrector, vibration plate, and more.
The group space (aka The Pilates Pavillion) is used for weekly mat classes and monthly workshops/events.
Both spaces have incredible natural light and make you feel one with nature.
